Moscow, Mar 14: Russia will start live-fire tests of the new Shturm heavy robot tank, created on the basis of the T-72 battle tank, in April, a source in the defense industry told Sputnik.
The source said that “the tests will involve firing at test targets, including from the main weapon of the robotic complex – a 125-mm shortened gun.”
Last year, sources told Sputnik that the Russian UralVagonZavod machine building company had started work on the creation of the first prototypes of the Shturm heavy strike robotic complex, designed primarily for military operations in urban environments.(UNI)
