Rusted shell found in Thannamandi

RAJOURI, Apr 20: An old and rusted shell was discovered during an excavation in the Thannamandi area today, prompting swift action from local authorities.
According to police sources, the incident occurred near the residence of retired army personnel Adalat Khan, son of Ikhtiar Khan, in the Manyal Manda Morh locality. The shell was unearthed by workers who were engaged in digging for the construction of a new house adjacent to Khan’s residence.
Upon spotting the shell, the property owner immediately informed the police. A team from the local police station rushed to the site and safely confiscated the shell.
The police confirmed that the shell appeared to be old and rusted, and further investigations are underway. No injuries or damages were reported in the incident.
