JAMMU, Nov 25: The UK delegation of RVS iGlobal met with IT Minister Satish Sharma to discuss Jammu’s immense potential as an emerging IT hub and explore avenues for its future growth in the sector.
The discussion revolved around the region’s evolving IT landscape, strategies for development, and the vision of establishing Jammu’s very own IT Park in the years to come.
The meeting emphasized leveraging Jammu’s untapped talent pool, fostering innovation, and creating opportunities and a suitable ecosystem to position the region as a key player in India’s digital economy. The UK delegation, led by senior representatives of RVS iGlobal, shared insights on global IT trends and highlighted the collaborative efforts needed to accelerate the region’s IT growth.
IT Minister Satish Sharma shared his vision for the region, including plans for the development of an IT Park in Jammu in the coming years. The proposed IT Park would serve as a dedicated space for technology-driven businesses, creating a vibrant ecosystem for startups, tech companies, and innovation hubs to flourish.
