SEOUL, June 17: South Korea’s economic growth for the current quarter will likely be similar to 0.8 percent recorded in the January-March quarter on a sequential basis, the country’s central bank governor said on Monday.
Bank of Korea Governor Kim Choong-soo made the remarks during his testimony at a parliament committee, adding that Asia’s fourth-largest economy was maintaining momentum for growth of more than 3 percent for the whole of the year. (agencies)
