JAMMU, Jan 27:A delegation of Shri Amarnath Bharfani Langer Organisation (SABLO) led by its president Rajesh Gupta called on Rahul Singh , Additional Chief Executive Officer , Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) today and highlighted various demands before him. They also handed over a memorandum highlighting the demands to him.
The other members of the delegation included H K Chug, general secretary of SABLO, Vijay Mehra its finance secretary, Pankaj Soni, PRO and Faqir Chand Verma route coordinator, Pahalgam-holy cave route.
The issues discussed included police verification of Sewadars. They demanded that there should be no restriction on giving night shelter to yatris, increase in number of Sewadars from 50 to 100 in view of expected huge increase in number of pilgrims, withdrawal of police verification of Sewadars, not seeking the affidavit by the president / chairman of the langar, removal of penalty clause, black listing clauses, cards of Sewadars from SASB valid for yatra insurance cover of Rs five lakh, Site / location of Langars should not be disturbed etc.
The delegation further demanded formation of various Committees by SASB, time bound reply of emails, test and whatsApp messages be given, security and safety of yartris be ensured, steps be taken to arrest the decline of number of yatris, resumption of online registration of yatris, simplification of compulsory health certificates, on the spot registration and issue of compulsory health certificates.
The delegation in addition to this discussed many more issues with the Additional CEO of SASB, Rahul Singh and it said that he assured to resolve the all issues.
