JAMMU, Jan 5: Shri Amarnath Barfani Langar Organisation (SABLO) held a meeting at Ludhiana, Punjab today. The meeting besides, Bhole Bhandara Charitable Trust , Om Shiv Shanker Sewa Mandal and Panchtarni Amar Shakti Samiti, was attended by the Langar organisations across the country.
Addressing the meeting president SABLO, Rajan Gupta said the Bhandara organisations are providing selfless services despite the imposition of several conditions by the Government. He said facing serious challenges the Langar organisations render their services best to their ability and dedication to pilgrims coming from different parts of country and abroad.
He in an appeal to Lt Governor of J&K , Manoj Sinha who is also the Chairman of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) to issue orders for cancellation of police verification for Sewadars providing services during yatra in Langars, start rotation policy for Langars and the process of giving advance affidavit be also cancelled. Moreover, the halting of 50 yatris during night in Shivir be also done away with. The granting of permit system be made easy and displaced Bhandara people of 2014 and 2015 be granted permission of installing their bhandaras in Baltal and Domel area. Moreover, these Bhandara people for constructing their pacca sheds be allotted land by Shrine Board. Moreover, on various halting places on both tracks the Shrine Board should make arrangements for night haltage of Yatris. Besides, the process of stopping Yatra due to rush mostly from Pahalgam track be stopped.
The SABLO also turned attention of Shrine Board towards various other problems. Rajan Gupta urged the Bhandara organisaitons that despite the tough conditions imposed by the administration they should continue their selfless service to Yatris during pilgrimage. He said with the support of Langar organisations SABLO will continue to do selfless service to pilgrims. The meeting was addressed by general secretary, SABLO, S K Chugh, senior vice president, Ram Lok Choudhary, vice president Raj Kumar Garg, finance secretary, Vijay Mehra, Faqir Chand Verma, Pankaj Soni, Mahesh Mittal, Jeewan Lal Joginder Pal, Annu Goyal, Rajeev Singla, Mukesh Jindal, Janit Goel, M S Arora, Surinder Garg and others.
