MENDHAR, Feb 4: The police arrested two persons in connection with the sacrilegious act and seized the animal flesh and parts hidden in three gunny bags.
The police party from Gursai Police Station came to action immediately after some people rang up SDPO Mendhar Surinder Choudhary about the matter this afternoon. Police party led by SHO Gursai rushed to the spot and nabbed two persons from the spot. Four others managed to escape. The animal parts were also seized.
Those nabbed were identified as Mohd Razak and Mohd Shabir, residents of Kallar village. Four others evading arrest are Nassir Ahmed, Tariq Ahmed, Mehmood Ahmed and Mohd Qayoom, all residents of Kallar village in Gursai. The police has registered case against them.
