SAD resents denial of entry to its MP in J&K

JAMMU, Dec 3: Jammu and Kashmir unit of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today expressed resentment over denial of entry in the Union Territory to the Party president and MP Simranjit Singh Mann and neglect of minority Sikh community.
In a party meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Narinder Singh Khalsa (president, SAD J&K), threadbare discussions were held on long pending demands and burning issues of Sikh community in J&K and steps need to be taken to strengthen SAD (Amritsar) at grassroots level.
All senior leaders of the party in one voice strongly condemned the continuous denial of permission to the Party president and MP Simranjit Singh Mann in J&K and termed it a grave violation of democratic and fundamental rights.
Leaders also discussed restoration of democratic rights of the people of J&K and burning issues of Sikh community including discrimination with Punjabi language, constitution of Gurdwara Parbandhak Board, installation of statue of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, etc.
