Sadhotra appeals people to vote for coalition candidates

JAMMU, Apr 6: Minister for Planning and Development, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today appealed the people of the State to beat the self interested political groups, whose aim is to grab power by sacrificing the communal harmony and peace in the State, and vote for coalition candidates.
While addressing election rally at Flyan-Mandal, here today, Sadhotra appealed the people to make their choice for 2014 Lok Sabha elections as per the performance of Coalition Government and the role played by the opposition parties in the development of the State.
He advised the people not to be misguided and exploited by self interested political groups whose only aim is to grab the power going to any extent and sacrificing the peace and tranquility in the State.
While targeting the BJP, he said BJP is using religious lines to polarize the voters in their desperate attempt to book a seat in Parliament, which however is visible with the statements of BJP National leaders while addressing the election rallies throughout the countries.
Making scathing attack on BJP, Sadhotra said that it has failed to deliver as opposition party and has betrayed the confidence of the people of Jammu and now in order to cover up their failures they are misguiding people of State for petty political gains.
He said people of State have a bitter experience of BJP’s role during Amarnath land row resulting in hatred between Jammu and Kashmir region and putting people of the State to great loss and biggest ever set back to developmental activities in the State.
Sadhotra also appealed the youth to strengthen the hands of Omar Abdullah, whose main thrust is to address the serious problem of unemployment among youth of the State.
