JAMMU, Jan 24: Minister for Planning, Development, Labour and Employment Mr Ajay Sadhotra today called for close synergy between various executing agencies for early completion of various projects in the State.
Chairing a high level meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Economic Reconstruction Agency here, the Minister made a mention of various ongoing schemes, especially in the capital cities of Jammu and Srinagar, and urged the senior officers to ensure that inconvenience is not caused to the people due to delay in various projects.
Mr Sadhotra reviewed various schemes taken up by the agency especially the mega sewerage project in the Jammu city and also discussed the upcoming fly-over projects with officers. He sought early completion of various road projects to ensure connectivity between various areas.
While stressing upon maintaining quality works, the Minister called for regular monitoring of all the schemes so as ensure that bottlenecks, if any, are immediately addressed. He also exhorted the field officers to draw a calender of activities for achieving the progress as per stipulated time frame.
The meeting discussed status of various road projects and achievement registered in the ambitious 27 MLD Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP).
