KISHTWAR, Jan 1: Safai Karamcharies and other daily rated employees of Kishtwar Municipality today took out protest march in support of their demands.
Raising slogans against the authorities, the demonstrating employees took out rally from Kishtwar Municipal office, which after passing through general bus stand, hospital road and other areas of town culminated at Municipal office.
The protestors are on strike from last few days and are demanding regularisation of their services and enhancement in wages.
They alleged that many times the issues were taken with concerned authorities, but only face assurances were given, which has forced them to adopt the path of agitation.
“We will continue our Kaam Chodo Hartal till our demands are not met”, they asserted.
