JAMMU, Jan 24: The Civic Safai Karamcharis Union president Rinku Gill today demanded considering of pending cases under SRO 43 of Safai Karmacharis.
In a statement issued here today he also demanded convening of DPC meeting at an earliest, closing of NGO system in JMC and engaging the Safai Karamcharis on the pattern of Srinagar Municipality, enhancement of wages of casual Safai Karamcharis from Rs 2100 to Rs 3700 pm and also sanctioning of Sunday leave in their favour.
Mr Gill also submitted a charter of demands to Minister of Urban Development Nawang Rigzin Jora.
