KATHUA, Feb 4: Safai Karamcharis of Municipal Council Kathua took out protest demonstration against the district administration and Municipal Council whom they accused of their total failure in solving the long pending demands.
The Safai Karamcharis including the women assembled at Municipal Council Kathua and raised slogans in favour of their demands. They were demanding the regularization of daily wager Safai Karamcharis who are working since long period. They also demanded election of Safai Karamchari Union. They criticized the attitude of Council for not solving their grievances and asked it to make arrangement for election of Safai Karamcharis Union.
They also submitted a memorandum to Municipal Council and Deputy Commissioner Kathua highlighting their demands and urged them to settle them at an earliest.
