UDHAMPUR, Jan 14: Safai Karamcharis of Udhampur town gathered in front of the office of Municipal Committee Udhampur and held protest in support of their pending demands here today.
Employees of Municipal Committee, under the banner of Safai Karamchari Union, assembled in front of the office of Municipal Committee Udhampur and started protest demonstration against district administration for not considering long pending demands including shortage of staff and regularization of daily wagers who completed seven year of service.
District president of the Union Kaka Hussain said that many Safai Karamcharis of Udhampur MC protected their issues time to time but department failed to take cognizance. No any issues was solved. Only false assurances are given every time. They warned to intensify their struggle in near future.
