POONCH, Dec 29: Safai Karamcharis of Municipal Committee Surankote of district Poonch staged a peaceful protest at Municipal Committee office Surankote.
The protest was held to highlight the demand of the regularisation of the employees. They raised slogans in support of their demands for regularization of the need based Safai Karamcharis.
Arif Hussain, an employee said they were doing their services for the last 10 years but the Government never thought of regularizing them. The Safai Karamcharis requested LG administration to look into their problems and solve the same. They also announced Kaam Choro Hartal from January 2, if their demands were not addressed.
