UDHAMPUR, Nov 27: On fifth day of their ongoing strike, Safai Karamcharis of Udhampur assembled in front of the office of Municipal Committee Udhampur and held a protest demonstration in support of their long pending demands.
These Safai Karamcharis are demanding regularization of daily wagers and engagement of more staff for proper cleanliness of the town.
Today employees of Municipal Committee protested in front of Municipal Office Udhampur and raised slogans against district administration for not considering long pending demands.
District presidents of the Safai Karamcharis, Mr Papu addressed the protest demonstration and announced to continue the ongoing strike till their demands are conceded.
