RAMBAN, Apr 9: A safety supervisor engaged with the construction of the Chenani-Nashri tunnel was killed, when a small portion of the tunnel caved in.
Police spokesman said that, safety supervisor Sanjeev Parsad, son of Kamla Parsad of Jharkhand was engaged with some work inside the under construction Chenani-Nashri tunnel, when a small portion of the tunnel caved in.
The co-workers removed the debris and shifted him to Batote hospital, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
A case has been registered and investigation into the case is in progress.
