SRINAGAR, July 25: Lt Gen Subrata Saha, GOC 15 Corps, met Governor N N Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
The Governor and Lt Gen Saha discussed issues relating to the internal security situation. The GOC also briefed the Governor about the ongoing search and rescue operations being carried out around the Baltal Base Camp, with Army’s full assistance.
The Governor thanked Gen Saha for his prompt personal initiatives to deal with the unforeseen disaster due to cloudburst and heavy rains at Baltal last night.
