SRINAGAR, July 16: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Armed SM Sahai today decorated newly promoted Superintendents of Police (SPs) in a function held at armed police headquarters.
Shafqat Hussain and Mohammad Maajid Malik presently posted as Deputy Superintendents of Police in IR 5th Battalion Doda and JKAP 8th Battalion Manasbal respectively promoted as Superintendents of Police amongst 93 DySPs were felicitated and decorated with ranks by the Additional DGP Armed SM Sahai.
While decorating these officers, Additional DGP advised them to uphold the sanctity of dignified rank at all the times by all means and showcase themselves as true public servants under all circumstances.
Extending his greetings to the families of promoted officers, ADGP expressed his hope that the promotion for which they richly deserved would bring new spirit of public service among the officers.
