Sahakar Bharti discusses Govt initiative on cooperatives

JAMMU, Sept 14: Sahakar Bharti today termed the launching of two major initiatives of co-operative development by the Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha a great mile stone in co-operative development.
The Sahakar Bharti and its other sister organizations held a meeting today in which a great satisfaction was shown over the Government’s initiative.
In a statement issued, it said Diploma in Co-operative Management and MoU between Co-operative and Development of Tribal Affairs will go a long way in development of co-operatives in UT of J&K.
Congratulating the stake holders the Commissioner Secretary, Yasha Mudgal to Government Cooperative Department said that the Apex Level Dairy Federation has been established in Jammu and Kashmir after very long time and the initiative will strengthen the cooperative spirit at grass root level to generate the income of farmers concerned with the agriculture. She further said that the new initiative is also aimed at to improve cooperative efficiency and to meet the requirement of rural economy.
Emphasizing on promoting co-operative in Dairy education and training, EPOS and manage cooperative business and to facilitate the process of human resources development in J&K Sahakar Bharti complimented the Commissioner Secretary, Registrar Cooperative Societies J&K for their keen interest for the development of rural economy.
On this occasion the other sister organizations connected with Sahakar Bharti and Dairy Federation also were present. About 60 Dairy Cooperative and FPO participated.
