JAMMU, Dec 18: Four events, namely Quiz, Installation, Collage and Rangoli were held on the fifth day of ongoing ‘Yuvtarang 2023’, organized by the Department of Students Welfare, Cluster University of Jammu.
In Quiz, the first position was bagged by GCW Gandhi Nagar; the second prize went to GCOE whereas the third prize was won by GGM Science College. Dr Chinmoyi Maharana, Department of Zoology, University of Jammu was the Quiz Master.
In Rangoli, Deepanjali from GCOE, Ayushi from School of Sciences and Aruna from GCW, Gandhi Nagar bagged first, second and third prize, respectively.
In Installation, GCOE stood first, GGM Science College bagged second and GCW, Gandhi Nagar won third prize.
In Collage, Mohd Zaigham Salaria from GGM Science College, Sonakshi Sharma from Govt SPMR College of Commerce and Seerat from GGM Science College won first, second and third prize respectively. Prof Samridhi Arora from Home Science Department, Jammu University; Rachita Dutta, IMFA, Dr Amarjeet Singh, IMFA were the adjudicators for Installation, Collage and Rangoli.
The entire event was planned, coordinated and managed by Dr Ranvijay Singh, Dean and his team of Department of Students Welfare, CLUJ.
Dr Jatinder Khajuria, Registrar Cluster University Jammu; Dr Ranvijay Singh, Dean Students Welfare; Dr Naveen Anand, Dean Academic Affairs; Dr Surinder Kumar, Principal Govt SPMR College of Commerce; Dr Satish Sharma, Incharge Principal, GCOE; Dr Kuldeep Raina, Cultural Coordinator; Prof Ashu Manhas, Associate Dean (SW); Prof Mohd Ashraf, Assistant Dean (SW), members of Campus Cultural Committee, faculty members and students were present during the events.
Dr Naveen Anand and Dr Vishal Sharma were the Observers while Prof Deepshikha Sharma and Prof Shalini Rana were the Events In-charge.
