JAMMU, Dec 9: Shri Sain Charitable Trust here today organized 8th Blood Donation Camp in the memory of late Dr. Roop Lal Sharma, founder Chairman of the Trust for Higher Education and Research on his birth anniversary.
The blood donation camp was inaugurated by Kavinder Gupta, Ex-Dy.CM of J&K.
About 108 volunteers from different institutes of Trikuta Group of Colleges including teaching and non-teaching staff, students, PG scholars and interns participated in the camp.
Speaking on the occasion Suman Sharma, Chairperson, Shri Sain Charitable Trust called upon the masses to come voluntarily for the noble cause of blood donation.
She said that such camps shall also be organized in near future also and appreciated the students and staff of the colleges under the Trust for their participation. Managing Directors, Ritesh Sharma and Ravish Sharma, Principal of different Colleges under the Trust, CEOs—Dr. Nitin Mahajan, Japna Sharma and Jasudha Sharma were also presented on the occasion.
The blood donation camp was organized in collaboration with Jammu Blood Centre, Greater Kailash, Blood Bank Bee Enn General Hospital Jammu, Jammu Blood Donors and Welfare Society (NGO).
