POONCH, May 30: Sai’n Meeran Baba Darvaish Ghulam Qadir Trust distributed relief, medical aid assistance of Rs 3,18000 to 49 poor, orphan, widows, patients and handicapped people at Shahpur, Guntrian in Poonch district.
Trust members said that applications were received from various poor background individuals of different places in Poonch, Rajouri and Kupwara, seeking relief, Medical aid on various grounds from Sain Miran Baba Darvesh Ghulam Qadir Trust on the on the basis of being extremely poor IAY, PHH & BPL categories persons consists of widows, orphans, handicapped, suffering from various serious ailments like heart problem, cancer, bone fracture, psychiatric, paralyses disease patients, besides poor downtrodden people seeking relief assistances for their livelihood and marriage ceremony of their daughters.
A total 49 cases were approved/ sanctioned by the Trust Committee members headed by Managing Trustee from trust money on extreme compassionate grounds after verifying all cases through different mediums and Rs 3,18000 were distributed to them through cheques.
Chairman Trust, Mohd Rashid Bhat said that the cheques were distributed in presence of all members to help these people who were seeking relief on different genuine grounds and such practice shall be continued in future as well to help the masses.
