JAMMU, June 12: A deputation of Sainik Colony inhabitants led by district president, PDP, Mahila Wing, Jammu, Sushila Jamwal, meet today with Chief Engineer, Electric, Maintenance and Rural Electrification, Jammu, Mrs Goni, and apprised her about the problems of the Colony people.
The delegation informed her about the acute shortage of electricity and water in the area due to which the life of the people has become miserable.
The Chief Engineer gave a patient hearing to the delegation and told it that she is seized of the problem and has already sent a proposal to the Planning and Development Department for release of funds so that the remedial measures could be put in place to ease out the problem.
Sushila Jamwal urged the Commissioner, Planning and Development Department for early release of the funds so that people of the area may not suffer any more.
