JAMMU, Mar 18: The residents of Sainik Colony led by Advocate B S Jamwal submitted a letter of memorandum to Chief Electoral Officer, Jammu regarding an objection to the draft voter list for preparation of Municipal Electoral rolls, 2016.
The residents called on CEO, Jammu and voiced concern over the draft voter list of Ward number 70 area comprising Sector number D, E, and F of Sainik Colony.
The residents have serious objections to the voter list prepared and added that voter list has been prepared without any address of the voter along their house numbers.
They feel that similar situation was witnessed by them in 2010 and they had approached then Chief Electoral Officer, Jammu.
The signatories of the letter submitted are B S Jamwal, Parkash Singh Jamwal, Ajay Singh, Jagdish Singh Jamwal, Kulbir Singh Sambyal, Prem Singh Sambyal, Sham Lal Cholotra, Shiv Kumar, Jagdish Singh and Mrs Pushpa.
