JAMMU, Sept 21: Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha (SAKRS), Jammu and Kashmir is set to commemorate the 130th birth anniversary of the late Maharaja Hari Singh on September 23. This significant event will take place at Maharaja Hari Singh Park, located near Fortune Hotel in Jammu, beginning at 10 am.
During a press conference addressed today, prominent leaders from SAKRS shared details about the upcoming celebration. Among those present were Managleshwar Singh, the general secretary, along with Balbir Singh, the rural president of Jammu district, and other influential members including Vinod Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Karan Singh, Narinder Singh, Ravinder Singh Shakha, and Sat Pal Rathore.
The leaders expressed their heartfelt desire for members of the Rajput community, as well as the general public, to participate in this tribute to Maharaja Hari Singh, who played a pivotal role in the region’s history. His contributions to the socio-economic development and cultural heritage of J&K continue to resonate with the community.
As part of the celebrations, attendees can expect a range of activities aimed at honoring the Maharaja’s legacy. “The SAKRS encourages everyone to come together in remembrance and pay their respect to a leader who remains an enduring symbol of pride for the Rajput community,” the leaders added.
