JAMMU, Feb 24: Saksham, a pan-India selfless organization affiliated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), convened a two-day training workshop in Jammu.
Spearheaded by their National Patron, Prof Dayal Singh, the event witnessed the participation of dedicated Saksham workers hailing from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, and Jammu and Kashmir.
The training, held at Trikuta Yatri Niwas Ambphalla, comprised eight insightful sessions featuring contributions from esteemed speakers representing various prants.
Deliberations centered on critical issues concerning the welfare of Divyangs nationwide, alongside strategies to expand Saksham’s outreach and ensure inclusivity across the country.
Notably, emphasis was laid on mobilizing Divyangs for active participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, in collaboration with NGOs, government bodies, security forces, and self-help groups.
Following the enriching sessions, the Saksham team embarked on a meaningful visit to the Suchetgarh Border, reaffirming their steadfast commitment to supporting the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel.
Led by Dayal Singh Pawar, accompanied by notable dignitaries including former MLAs Garu Ram Bhagat and Sham Lal Chowdhary, the delegation was warmly received by BSF commanders and local Karyakartas of Saksham, RSS, and BJP.
During the interaction with BSF officers and jawans stationed at the border, Dayal Singh Pawar expressed unwavering solidarity and pledged comprehensive support to address any challenges encountered due to Pakistan’s misadventures.
He reassured the BSF personnel of Saksham’s commitment to providing necessary aid, including medical assistance and rehabilitation, to ensure their well-being.
Omesh Andare provided insights into Saksham’s journey since its inception, stressing the importance of transparency and effective fund management.
Discussions also revolved around Saksham’s targets until 2025, coinciding with the completion of 100 years of RSS’s establishment, with a focus on judicious fund allocation at zila, prant, and national levels.
The proactive approach of Saksham towards bolstering the morale of BSF personnel garnered appreciation from the BSF commander, former MLAs, and local dignitaries, underscoring the organization’s unwavering dedication to the welfare of defense personnel.
