Salal Power Station gets first prize for implementing official language

JAMMU, Feb 17: NHPC’s Salal Power Station (SPS) was today conferred with the first prize for its outstanding work in the implementation of official language.
The award was conferred during the Combined Regional Official Language Conference for the Central, Western and Northern regions, organized by the Department of Official Language, MHA at Jaipur.
Raj Kumar Chaudhary, CMD, NHPC and Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel), NHPC received the award shield and certificate from Bhajan Lal, Chief Minister of Rajasthan and Nityanand Rai, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Government of India.
During the conference, Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Reasi which is implementing Official language works under the Chairmanship of NHPC Salal Power Station, was also conferred with the second prize.
This award was received by Anish Gouraha, Group General Manager, Head of NHPC Salal Power Station.
The function was attended by Ram Swaroop, ED, Regional Office, Jammu (J&K), Santosh Kumar, ED, Regional Office, Banikhet (Himachal Pradesh) along with senior NHPC officers.
