RAJOURI, Nov 24: With an aim to ensure smooth and copying free conduct of board examinations in far flung areas and to inspect the functioning of Government schools, a team of District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) conducted inspection in several examination centers of Kotranka Budhal and also withheld salaries of two teachers who were found absent from duty.
During visit in Government Middle School Mal Rehan, it was found that two teachers along with headmaster were not present after which Zonal Education Officer Peeri has been directed to withhold the salaries of both these officials and also to serve explanation notices to them.
A team, led by Principal DIET Rajouri, Pardeep Sharma and comprising of HoD Gulzar Hussain, HoD Nagesh Kumar, HoD Amina Chowhan, HoD Bela Sharma, Lecturer Hameed Ahmed, Lecturer Javed Ahamed Qazi, Lecturer Mahjbeen, Lecturer Pervez Akhter, Lecturer Sadiq Mirza, Teacher Shabir Ahamed Wani teacher and Lecturer Fazal Hussian, paid surprise inspection in examination centers of Kotranka zone where examinations of 10th and 12th class of winter zone are being conducted. Inspection was conducted in the backdrop of repeated complaints of mass copying. During the inspection, nothing adverse was found in conduct of examinations.
