JAMMU, Feb 22: State unit of Samajwadi Party has demanded dissolution of State Assembly and conduct of fresh elections in the State in view of present messy political atmosphere created in the State multiplying hardships of people.
State president of the party Sheikh Ab Rehman, Ex MP, said that in fact both BJP and PDP have reached an agreement of power sharing and even distribution of bread and loaves have been decided much earlier but both these parties are wary of backlashes in their respective constituencies. “Why such a long time is being given to these parties? Is it not the dishonour to the public mandate?” he asked.
Both these parties are virtually befooling the masses and want to buy time to cool down the simmering anger of masses because they have sold out the core issues and compromised for pretty interests. People are suffering on account of rations, water and electricity but these parties are cooking up the broth to suit their choices.
The all time sentimental issues of which they are close to formation of Govt like Article 370, AFSPA, Delimitation Commission, Refugee problem, Ram Mandir etc have been thrown into the basket. The release said and added that time have now come when the people should forget the emotive slogans of communalism or regionalism and be prepared to bring a radical change in running the Govt which would be totally people friendly on Delhi pattern as the Delhiites have shown a beacon light to the people in the country.
