JAMMU, Apr 23: A major fire broke out today at Napoleon Food and Beverages factory in Phase-1 of Samba’s Industrial Growth Centre, which produces mineral water.
The incident was first noticed by a factory worker who saw smoke rising from the second floor of the building.
Later, local residents and the worker called for help from fire tenders, who arrived at the scene along with police personnel.
After a lot of hard work, the fire was eventually brought under control. Unfortunately, all the goods stored on the second floor of the factory were destroyed, resulting in a significant loss for the factory owner.
The cause of the fire is suspected to be a short circuit.
