KATHUA/ SAMBA, Mar 12: Samba and Koota township observed a complete bandh today on the call given by Hindu Ekta Manch (HEM)  and supported by all the political parties, social organization and Beopar Mandal Samba  demanding CBI probe into the murder of Asifa.

All the shops and other business establishments in Samba remained closed and the activists of Hindu Ekta Manch Samba protested against the State Government on the fourth day today and demanded the CBI inquiry in Asifa murder case. The protesters also took out a rally from Samba Fort to Main Chowk National Highway.
During the protest, people of Samba raised slogans against the State Government and also blamed on the Government that BJP -PDP coalition has totally failed in solving this issue.
While addressing Anupam Singh Sambyal a local leader said that BJP has totally surrendered in front of PDP and the Government did not want CBI inquiry in this case and the people of village Rassana are being harassed by Crime Branch which is shameful.
He demanded eviction of nomads from the Government land in border belt of Samba. He also warned that the protest will continue till the CBI inquiry is ordered by Government.
On the other hand, Beopar Mandal Samba president, Tejinder Singh said that they will support HEM on this issue because the demand is very genuine.
Yashpal Kundal NPP leader and ex-MLA said that the CBI inquiry is must in this case so that the main culprits are punished. He also blamed the Government and wanted to know that why the BJP is not taking serious steps in this regard?.
He accused the BJP of surrendering totally before the PDP for the sake of power.
Rajput Sabha Samba president, Capt. (retd) Inder Singh also said that they want CBI Inquiry in the case so that Asifa gets justice and warned to continue agitation.
Others who were present included  Capt (retd) Inder Singh president, Rajput Sabha Samba, Yashpal Kundal former MLA Samba. Anupam Sambyal, Amardeep Singh, Ravi Khajuria president, Brahamana Sabha Samba, Sandeep Singh, president Samba Youth organisation, Kamer Singh Congress block president, Sandeep Sharma youth vice president, Congress ,Rajeshwar Singh district president, JKNPP Samba district, Arun Khajuria, Mohinder Singh Bobby, Vishav Singh, Udhayveer Singh etc.
A total bandh in support of the HEM demand of CBI probe into the murder of Asifa was also observed in Koota township today where all the shops and other business establishments remained closed.
Meanwhile a bike rally was taken out by activists of HEM from Jatwal to Hiranagar which was led by Advocate Vijay Sharma president HEM. The rally passed from Ghagwal, Rajpura, Londi More, Koota, Dayala Chak and culminated in a protest demonstration in front of SDM Office Hiranagar.
The rallyists were carrying National Flags in their hands and they were raising slogans against the Government demanding CBI probe into the murder of Asifa.
Addressing the rally advocate Vijay Sharma, ex Sarpanches Kant Kumar, Vijay Tagotra, Bagmal and Ranbir Singh while reiterating their demand of CBI probe into the murder of Asifa said that they have lost the faith on State Government and will not budge an inch from their demand.
They made it clear that they want the culprits be punished and the poor girl and her family should get justice but at the same time no innocent should be harmed.
