Samba police arrests 2 thieves

SAMBA, Oct 23: Under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, Police has cracked on burglars , arrested two notorious thieves and recovered stolen items worth rupees one lakh approximately.
The arrested notorious thieves have been identified as Sahil Kumar, son of Harnam Singh of Kalibari Samba and Narinder Kumar, son of Harnam Dass of Rakh Amb Talli Samba.
Owner of one steel fabrication industry in Phase-3 of Samba lodged complaint at Police Post (PP) Rakh Amb Talli to the effect that burglars barged into his factory during night hours, broke open locks and stole away costly items. Upon this complaint, a case FIR No.251/2023 U/S 457/380 IPC was registered at Police Station (PS) Samba through Police Post (PP), Rakh Amb Talli and investigation was started by Police. Police has solved the case, arrested two notorious thieves and recovered stolen items worth rupees one lakh approximately including big AC of blue star company, a transformer, and a big electronic weighing machine. police raids are on and some more arrests are likely in the case.
The arrests have been made by police team headed by SHO Police Station Samba Daljit Singh & PSI Davinder Singh under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Samba, Benam Tosh said that total 138 thieves have been arrested and 72 theft cases solved by Samba police in past nine months and stolen items worth several lac have been recovered. Police is exhibiting professionalism and conducting in depth investigations with utmost sincerity in all theft cases registered in the district.
