Samba police arrests 3 in jewellery theft case

SAMBA, Nov 26 : In another major breakthrough, Samba Police has solved jewellery theft case by arresting three accused and recovering stolen gold & silver ornaments.
The arrested persons have been identified as Devinder Singh of Rakh Amb Talli, Samba, Hardeep Singh Jamwal of Mandi Kotli, Samba and Rakesh Kumar Verma of Samba.
Police said the written complaint of one Rinku Kumar Dixit son of Sahukar Dixit of Uttar Pradesh A/P Rakh Amb Talli, Police had registered a theft case FIR No.281/2023 u/s 454/380 IPC at Police Station Samba through Police Post Rakh Amb Talli and investigation was started.
Investigation is being conducted applying professional methodology including scientific aid to investigation by SHO PS Samba Daljit Singh and Chowki Officer PP Rakh Amb Talli Sohail Munir under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Samba Bisham Dubey and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that a total of 150 thieves have been arrested and 75 theft cases have been solved by Samba Police in past ten months and stolen property worth lacs of rupees including gold/silver ornaments and cash has been recovered.
