Samba police arrests 3 notorious bovine smugglers

SAMBA, Apr 14: Foiling two bovine smuggling attempts of the smugglers at two different places in the district, Samba police, under the overall supervision of SSP, Benam Tosh, have arrested three notorious bovine smugglers and rescued 28 bovine animals.
The arrested bovine smugglers have been identified as Mushtaq Ahmed son of Abdul Rahman of Sujwan tehsil and district Jammu, Mohammad Yousaf son of Mohammad Hussain of Baguna, tehsil Vijaypur, district Samba and Muneer Ahmed Khan son of Mohammad Khamid Khan of Nonath, Ghagwal.
Two separate FIRs have been registered at Police Station (PS) Purmandal and Police Station (PS) Samba and investigation is underway.
Police said the arrested notorious bovine smugglers had adopted new modus-operandi to escape from the eyes of police but landed in police trap and have been arrested.
The arrests have been made by the teams comprising of SHO PS Purmandal, Vijay Verma, SHO PS, Samba, Rajeshwar Singh, in charge Police Post (PP), Gouran, Sajjid Jaral under the supervision of SDPO, Bari Brahmana, Rahul Nagar, DySP Garu Ram and Additional SP, Samba, Surinder Choudhary.
