Samba police arrests 4 hard core criminals

SAMBA, Oct 19 : Under the overall supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police, Samba, Benam Tosh, police has arrested four hardcore criminals for committing murderous attacks on a woman and police in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS) Bari Brahmana and Police Station, Vijaypur respectively.
The arrested criminals have been identified as Mohammad Ashraf alias Ashu, son of Roshan Din, Liaqat Ali alias Laaki, son of Babur, Mam Hussain, son of, Babu all residents of Rakh Barotian Vijaypur and one more criminal.
Out of four hardcore criminals, three have been arrested in attack on police in case FIR No.132/2023 U/Ss 307, 382, 332, 353, 148, 149, 34 IPC of Police Station Vijaypur who while on patrolling duty were attacked by the heroin smugglers and their supporters near Rakh Barotian in the last month, whereas one criminal has been arrested in case FIR No.247/2023 U/Ss 307, 452, 323, 147, 506 IPC of Police Station, Bari Brahmana in which one woman was attacked with sharp-edged weapon, who was grievously injured and hospitalized.
The hardcore criminals have been arrested by police team headed by SHO Police Station, Vijaypur, Sandeep Charak and SHO Police Station, Bari Brahmana, Sumit Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur, Rohit Kumar, SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Benam Tosh said that total 142 hardcore criminals have been arrested by Samba police in past nine months and strong legal action is being taken against the criminals, miscreants and Gunda elements in the district.
