SAMBA, Feb 8: District police Samba today arrested one absconder wanted in a heinous case registered at Police Station (PS) Samba.
A Police team of Police Post (PP) Supwal led by incharge PP, PSI Maneesh Sharma under the supervision of Dy.SP Headquarters, Samba, Mohammad Usman has succeeded in apprehending accused namely Vijay Kumar, son of Banarsi Dass of Nanke Chak, Samba after their strenuous effort.
Police said the accused was wanted in case FIR No. 291/2021 u/s 376 IPC registered at PS Samba. The accused was on the run for the last five months after the commission of crime.
The arrest was made by the police team under the overall supervision of SSP Samba, Dr.Abhishek Mahajan.
