SAMBA, Aug 18: Samba Police arrested an absconder who was evading arrest for last five years.
Police said a team of Police Station Samba, constituted on the direction of SSP Samba,Dr Koshal Sharma headed by ASI Balbir Singh under the close supervision of Inspector Chanchal Singh, SHO P/S Samba and under the supervision of Deepak Digra, Dy.SP, Headquarters Samba arrested an absconder namely Malkeet Singh S/o Tarlok Singh R/o R.S. Pura, Jammu from Bari Brahmana area.
He was evading arrest for five years and Samba police had already registered case FIR Number 22/2013 U/S 341/323/382/201/147 RPC of P/S Samba against him. The police later produced challan in the court of law against him.
