JAMMU, Apr 24: Samba Police arrested one drug peddler and recovered Ganja from his possession.
The arrested drug peddler has been identified as Rahul, S/o Ram Kishor of Chhatisgarh at present Samba.
In this connection A case FIR No 82/2017 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Samba and investigation has taken up.
Today’s naka was as a part of the continuous drive against the menace of the drugs launched by District Police Samba on the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Anil Magotra.
The naka was laid by a police team of Police Station Samba headed by SHO P/S Samba near SIDCO Chowk Samba. During checking the police party apprehended the drug peddler and seized the Ganja from his possession.
