Samba police arrests four gamblers

JAMMU, June 5: Continuing its drive launched against gamblers in district Samba, a police party headed by SI Surinder Nagra of P/S Samba under the supervision of Inspector Sanjeev Chib, SHO P/S Samba and Varinder Singh, Dy. SP HQ Samba and conducted raid at Budhwani Samba, nabbed five gamblers. They included Naveen Singh S/o Jagdev Singh R/o Mandi Lama Samba, Anil Kumar S/o Lal Chand R/o Ward No. 7, Samba, Ram Kumar S/o Shiv Ram R/o Ward No. 6 Samba and Dalbir Singh S/o Kentu Ram R/o Mangi Gurgalian Samba Police has recovered Rs. 5200 as gambling amount alongwith playing cards from the spot. All were booked under 13 Gambling Act. This was stated in a handout issued by Samba police today.
