SAMBA, Apr 23: Samba Police delivered medicines to a cancer patient of Gurha Morh, Vijaypur brought from Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.
As per reports some volunteers from Gurha Slathian today approached Samba Police for providing medicines to a cancer patient as the patient has no medicines with and the same were desperately required.
The patient is using Ayurvedic medicines from Tibetan Market, Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh from the last three years and due to lockdown restrictions, the medicines cannot be brought from outside J&K.
At this, SSP Samba, Shakti Pathak immediately made contact with his counterpart, SSP Kangra and the much needed medicines were provided to the patient at his house.
All the family members deeply appreciated Samba Police for such a noble act as there was no other hope to get the medicines amidst country wide lockdown.
