Samba police distributes school bags, uniforms among needy students

Samba police distributing uniforms among students at Government Primary School, Kartholi, Bari Brahmana on Monday.

SAMBA, Mar 7: District police Samba distributed school bags, uniforms, shoes, notebooks and other stationary items among needy students of Government Primary School, Kartholi (Dasal), Bari Brahmana under Civic Action Programme (CAP).
SSP Samba, Dr. Abhishek Mahajan, distributed the items in the school premises in presence of Head of the Institution, staff members, Sarpanches/ Panches and locals of the area. DySP Component Samba, Garu Ram and SHO PS Bari-Brahmana, Inspector, Rakesh Sharma were also present.
On the occasion, SSP Samba impressed upon the students to remain attentive to their studies and refrain from any kind of social evil. SSP Samba asked the students for their wider participation in extra co-curricular activities which helps to nurture their talent and all round personality development. The SSP after handing over the School items to the students said that J&K Police organizes various programmes under Civic Action Programme and today distribution of school items (school bags, uniforms & stationery items) is one of such programme.
While addressing the gathering on the occasion, SSP Samba informed that Samba police is going to organise various sports events in the coming days for the sport persons of district Samba under Civic Action Programme.
On the conclusion of the programme, the refreshment packages were also distributed among the school children.
