SAMBA, Aug 3: Samba Police today recovered 15 bovine animals which were being smuggled to Kashmir valley in a truck bearing number JK02AJ/0964 near new bus stand here. The truck carrying 15 bovine animals rolled down after being hit by a trala bearing number HR 14E/0118. A car which was also on the way bearing number JK08/4065 was also hit by trala at the same time. However, Samba police swung into action and rescued the 15 bovine animals and took the driver into the custody. The truck was also seized by the police. The Samba police has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law.
