SAMBA, Feb 17: Samba police has traced out a minor girl in which a case under relevant section was registered at Police Station (PS) Bari Brahmana and reunited her with the parents after completing all legal formalities.
Police said on February 5 a written complaint was lodged by the mother of missing girl, resident of Teli Basti, Bari Brahmana, stating therein that her minor girl who is dumb went missing from her residence.
Acting on the complaint, a case FIR No.17/2024 U/S 363 IPC got registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana and search started to trace the girl. During the course of investigation, concrete efforts were made by the police to recover the girl including issuance of lookout notice from district Police Headquarters Samba.
With strenuous efforts, a police team of Police Station (PS) Bari Brahmana headed by SHO, PS Bari Brahmana traced out the missing girl and after producing her before Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Samba, handed over to her legal heirs upon completing all other legal formalities.
