SAMBA, Nov 8: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, police has seized three vehicles in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS) Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by Incharge Police Post (PP) Supwal and in charge Police Post (PP) Rakh Amb Talli falling under Police Station Samba while performing patrolling duty in their respective jurisdictional areas, have seized three vehicles including a dumper bearing Registration Number JK21D-0670 and tractor trolley bearing registration Number JK21G-0090 and another without Registration Number which were being used for illegal transportation/ mining of the construction material in the area.
These vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
