SAMBA, Apr 28: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba police has seized seven vehicles including six dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations (PS), Vijaypur and Ghagwal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO Police Station (PS) Vijaypur, SHO Police Station (PS), Ghagwal and in charge Police Post (PP), Rajpura of PS Ghagwal while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized seven vehicles including six dumpers bearing Registration Number JK21K-1717, JK21H-9070, JK21J-0737, JK21J-7583, JK21-8722 and one dumper without Registration Number and one tractor trolley bearing Registration Number JK21B-3152 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
These vehicles have been seized by Samba police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
