SAMBA, July 19: Samba police has seized 450 grams of poppy straw and 18 grams of charas from a driver during a naka at Manser Morh today.
Police said one truck bearing registration number HP68/1953 was asked to stop at a naka at Mansar Morh today and on its checking police recovered about 450gm poppy straw and 18gm chars. The driver of the truck namely Vikram Singh alias vicky S/o Daleep Singh age about 24 years was arrested on spot. The truck was on way from Srinagar to Samba and in this regard a case FIR Number 151/17U/S 8/15NDPS Act was registered in p/s Samba.
