Samba police solves mysterious death case of UP girl, arrests accused

SAMBA, Apr 23: Police has solved mysterious death case of a young girl “Anu Verma” , whose dead body was found hanging in a rented room at Bari Brahmana on April, 19 and has arrested the accused.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba, Benam Tosh said that inquest proceedings initiated under Section 174 CrPC at Police Station, Bari Brahmana to ascertain the actual cause of mysterious death of 18 year old Anu Verma has been converted into FIR under section 306 IPC, accused has been arrested and further investigation is underway.
He said on April 19. dead body of 18year old unmarried girl Anu Verma daughter of Sushil Verma of Village Markha district Hardhoi (U.P) presently at Ward No. 10 Dollian Bari-Brahmana was found hanging under mysterious circumstances in a rented room at Ward No. 10, Dollian, Bari Brahmana and Police had initiated inquest proceedings u/s 174 CrPC to ascertain the actual cause of death. Post-mortem was got conducted and further legal formalities were completed. Police completed inquest proceedings expeditiously conducting thorough inquiry in highly professional manner and concluded that Anu Verma had committed suicide due to abetment converted inquest into FIR No. 100/2023 u/s 306 IPC Section and accused, who committed abetment to suicide, has been arrested.
The accused has been identified as Sahil Wilson son of Arun Wilson of Shiv Rajpur, Sabalpur Kanpur (U.P). The accused was arrested by a police team comprising of SHO PS Bari-Barahmana, Sunil Sharma, SI Dharam Paul and HC Surjeet Singh under the supervision of SDPO Bari-Brahmana, Rahul Nagar and Additional SP, Samba Surinder Choudhary.
