Samooh Theatre stages Shakespeare’s World Classic play ‘Hamlet’ in Dogri

JAMMU, Mar 31: Samooh Theatre staged Shakespeare’s World Classic play “Hamlet” in Dogri.
Adapted in Dogri by Dr Gian Singh and directed by Ravinder Sharma, the play opens in late one night when the ghost of Bhola’s father appears to him, accusing Chatru of his murder and urging Bhola to revenge. This sets in motion a train of events that destroys both family and state.
The actors who performed in the play were Sandeep Thakur, Rohit Bains, Aditya Pandita, Sandeep Manhas, Gautam Kumar, Ravinder Sharma, Kanika Sharma, Ajay Tamang, Samdhish Kumar, Chetan Charak, Shubham Singh, Suneedh Sharma and Anchit Bakshi.
The lights were designed by Pankaj Sharma and operated by Sunil Sharma while Music was give by Anchit Bakshi and Make up was done by Shammi Dhamir.
