Sampriti releases Amar Malmohi’s, Gowhar’s books

JAMMU, Mar 12: A literary function was held by ‘Sampriti’ in the K L Saigal Hall here, today.
The first session was presided over by veteran writer and critic, Dr R L Shant and Proffessor Talashi was guest of honour. The function started with the welcome address by Rattan Lal Jowher, president ‘Sampriti’ followed by the release of two Kashmiri books namely; “Ben , Tshen Tu Bawath based on research and critical analyses. It was authored by Dr Amar Malmohi and ” Gyan Ganga” comprising of devotional poetry by Ashok Gowhar.
The papers on the books were presented by Dr R L Bhat and P K Raina respectively analysing therein the main aspects of the books.
Dr Shant and Dr Talashi also threw light on the contents of the books.
The second session was presided over by Proffessor P N Trisal and it was devoted to the topic ” Sahitya Academy and Displaced Writers” in which the speakers presented their point of view on the functioning of Sahitya Academy New Delhi and it was seriously felt that the premier literary Agency of the country has deliberately or otherwise left and almost the whole exiled Kashmiri writers from it’s day today activities and has allowed itself to dance to the tunes of the vested interests for which the matter should be taken with it’s higher ups.
Galaxy of poets who attended the programme were A K Naz, Peerzada Ab Majid, B K Sanyasi, Dildar Mohan, B L Tiku, Dr Roshan Saraf, Pyarey Lal Shangru, Amar Malmohi, Aseer Kishtwari, Ramesh Hanglu, Maharaj Krishen, Rajender Agosh, Ramesh Nirash, Fozia Mougal, Dolly Tiku, Nancy Chetna ,Ashok Kaul, Ashok Dilbar, Bashirul Hak and Rinku Kaul
The programme was anchored by Tej Sagar and the vote of thanks was presented by Satish Safeer and Kusum Dhar ‘Sharda’.
